MINDFUL DINOSAURS
What could be a better way to introduce mindful eating to children than through a hilarious story about dinosaurs? Read aloud the book How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? At the end of each page, discuss whether the dinosaur was eating mindfully or mindlessly. If you have a dry erase board, make two columns, labeled Mindful and Mindless. List the dinosaurs and their eating habits under each category. At the end of the story reflect on the dinosaurs’ eating habits.
